Better Canvas does not collect or transmit any user data, consequently no data is ever utilized or sold to any third party.
Better Canvas utilizes the Chrome local/sync storage API in order to save user's options. All options are stored locally and contain no sensitive user data.

Due to the large number of theme submissions I get via email, I have decided to automate the process by allowing users to submit themes to a server, thereby allowing themes to be updated in real time. I am not a lawyer so this is made to be opt-in out of an abundance of caution in regards to privacy laws.
By default, Better Canvas does not transmit any data. However, by opting in to the Theme Browser, your IP address may be transmitted in order to prevent spam (rate limiting), but is only used for this purpose.
The only data saved is information integral to the functionality of this feature - including account registration, likes, and theme submissions. Accounts are entirely anonymous and cannot be traced back to an indivdiual. None of this data is ever utilized or sold to any third party.
